Baystate Health Foundation
The impact of philanthropy is everywhere at Baystate Health.
Every procedure, every recovery, every life passage, and every moment of compassionate, stellar medical and surgical care depends on facilities built, or technology purchased, or programs initiated – in whole or in part – through philanthropy. The high-quality care delivered today at Baystate Health is possible because a century ago, or a decade ago, or a year ago, someone cared about our community.
Donors to Baystate Health Foundation make it possible to renovate patient care environments, embark on new construction, invest in leading-edge technology, launch new programs, and sustain our excellence on every level.
Because you care, Baystate Health Foundation raised $6.3 million in support of patient care last year.
In 2016, gifts to our Foundation helped to build a new, state-of-the-art surgical center at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, update medical and surgical care units at Baystate Medical Center, and fund an array of deeply impactful projects throughout our system – ranging from new pediatric wheelchairs at Baystate Children’s Hospital to an innovative new service for seniors that takes them from inpatient care to living safely and comfortably at home.
In an age of stagnant reimbursement, slim operating margins, and increasing community need, clinical innovation and advancement depends on philanthropic investment.
There are many ways to get involved in Baystate Health Foundation’s vital work.
If you are not yet part of our philanthropic community, we invite you to join us. We welcome your participation and would be deeply grateful for your support. Making Baystate your charity of choice will give you an unparalleled opportunity to help thousands of people in western Massachusetts – when they need it most.
If you are part of Baystate Health Foundation – if you have made a gift, hosted an event, walked, rode, golfed or contributed in any other way – please know that your contribution has made a tangible difference in someone’s life. Your gift – combined with those of other kind, generous people throughout our region – may have saved a life in one of our emergency departments, facilitated a major surgical procedure, helped someone navigate the challenges of aging or brought a baby into the world.
We deliver a higher state of caring – because you care.
On behalf of all of our patients, and the 12,000 extraordinary health care professionals who take care of them, we thank you.
